Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern your use of datahoot.com, including the free AI scanner, contact form, and any services Datahoot ("we", "us") provides. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
The free scanner
Our scanner reads publicly available text from a domain you provide and uses an AI model to generate suggested AI tools for that business. Recommendations are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, outdated, or not applicable to your situation. They are provided for informational purposes only and are not professional, technical, or business advice — always verify a tool before adopting it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to bypass rate limits or bot protection on the scanner or contact form
- Submit domains you do not have the right to have analyzed
- Use the site to transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
We may limit, suspend, or block access to the scanner or contact form for any use we determine, at our discretion, to be abusive.
No warranty
The site, scanner, and any recommendations are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Datahoot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on any recommendation it produces.
Third-party tools and links
Recommendations may reference third-party AI tools we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for those products, their pricing, their availability, or their own terms and privacy practices.
Intellectual property
The site's design, content, and branding belong to Datahoot unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce or repurpose it without permission.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service itself at any time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of The United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
